RSB5-63 Miniature Circuit Breaker (RSB5 Air Switch)
The RSB5-63 miniature circuit breaker (RSB5 air switch) is primarily designed for AC 50/60Hz circuits with a rated operating voltage of up to 230V/400V and a rated current of up to 63A. This circuit breaker is mainly used for overload and short-circuit protection of electrical circuits and equipment in modern buildings. It is also suitable for infrequent switching and isolation of circuits.
Structural Features:
The RSB5-63 miniature circuit breaker consists of a plastic housing, operating mechanism, contact arc extinguishing system, and trip mechanism. The housing is made of high-strength, flame-retardant special plastic, offering strong impact resistance and lightweight properties. The components of the operating mechanism are made of high-strength plastic, ensuring sensitivity and reliability while minimizing rotational inertia. This allows for a rapid response from the onset of a short-circuit fault to the trip mechanism’s activation.
The trip mechanism comprises two parts: a bimetallic thermal overload inverse time trip and an electromagnetic instantaneous trip for short circuits. The contact arc extinguishing system adopts a specially designed arc guide angle and passage extinguishing chamber, offering significant current-limiting characteristics.
This product is primarily used for overload and short-circuit protection of lighting, distribution circuits, and equipment in office buildings, residences, and similar structures. Under normal conditions, it can also serve as an infrequent circuit switch.
